I was asked to give Ross Dawson’s Enterprise 2.0 Executive Forum a hand – which I will happily do, though I can’t be in Australia (sadly enough, but you know this is a half day event). The approach looks promising, focusing on case studies and sharing of experiences:
[…] provide a pragmatic overview of how Web 2.0 and social media technologies are being applied inside the enterprise to create business value. This unique half-day event will be centred on case studies of how leading Australian and global organisations have benefited from these technologies, and the key factors in successful implementation.
This relates well with the upcoming Enterprise 2.0 Summit and Enterprise2Open (which I am co-organizing) at CeBIT 2008 in March. As I doubt that Enterprise 2.0 will happen by itself anyway, as will be discussed in Sydney, getting the message distributed at more events is going to help all consultants in this space.
So if you’re coming to CeBIT 2008 make sure to pay us a visit on Sunday for the Enterprise2Open, or try to get into the Summit Conference on March 4, 2008. There’s still a discounted early bird registration.
